Roof Outlet Boxes

It can be a headache to weatherproof roof penetrations where Air-Conditioning pipework, electrical cables or lightning conductor cables enter and exit the building.

With our Roof Outlet Boxes the job is made easy. The boxes are fabricated in either one piece or two pieces.

The boxes are manufactured from galvanised steel or mild steel (zinc and powder paint coated) to sizes to suit the upstand size and or services to be taken through the roof.

One Piece:

If an upstand has already been formed through the flat or pitched roof then you need our One Piece weathered Roof Box.

The Box will sits over the upstand, fix to it, and allow the services to rise up and through the box and turn out onto the roof.

The Box has a removable lid enabling open access to work on the services passing through the box. Having installed the services the light gauge plate provided is cut on site to suit the pipe/cable sizes to achieve a weather seal. (Usually the installer also uses expanded foam which we can also supply).

Two Piece:

On a flat roof we can provide a "Base Section" which is fixed over the hole in the roof to provide an upstand.

The roofing contractor would felt over this to provide weathering. The One Piece "Roof Box" would then fix to the base section as described above .
