As well as supplying Fans, Grilles, Dampers, Flexible duct and other primary components TotalDucT also manufacture a range of Fan and Silencer units designed for the Hydroponics industry.

The word Hydroponics is as old as the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The word Hydroponics is borrowed from the Greeks, meaning "water working", and simply put is the growing of plants without soil.

Today this technology is widely used to grow lush, healthy indoor plants and premium grade vegetables, fruits and herbs.

We have used the latest products and acoustics materials to produce a combined fan and silencer unit which is extremely quiet running.

The box unit is of modular design with built in hanging and fixing points on all sides of the unit. The assembly comprises an acoustically lined galvanised steel box, Acoustic silencers on the inlet and outlet of the box, and a 315mm diameter fan unit positioned in the centre. The silencer pods are approx 50% within the body unit to prevent fan and in-duct noise break from the assembly.

The box and box lid are acoustically lined with 25mm thick self-extinguishing foam. The lid has toggle clips for easy access to the fan unit.

The unit comes pre-wired with 240-volt terminal housing mounted on the side of the box, where the 240 volt lead is to be connected.

These units are built to order and are available in a range of sizes from 200mm to 315mm duct diameter sizes.
