TotalducT have invested heavily in the latest design and draughting software including state of the art CAD, plotting and communication facilities. Using HVCA and CIBSE design parameters, plans are produced quickly and accurately and integrated into projects to produce a coordinated product.

Investment in technology allows us to produce drawings of the highest standards which can be used by all our services’ associates to integrate their own services. This cuts down on site clashes. Co-ordination problems can be picked up at drawing/design stage, thus minimizing production and programme delays.

Our current package allows us to import and export co-ordinated ductwork layouts in various formats, true 3D and will carry out automatic clash detection to avoid any unnecessary delays on-site.

Engineers both in the design office and in the workshop operate the computer systems. The completed layouts linked by Cad-Cam technology are transferred to computer controlled plasma cutting machines which enables the ductwork to be produced from standardised components, produced accurately and quickly with minimal material wastage.
